The 2015 Rally Indochina may be over, but its effects will be far-reaching and life-changing for this central Vietnamese youngster.
Thanh is one of three at risk children, from trafficking hot spot Hue, who will soon be a lot safer thanks to new homes provided by the Rally.
Thirteen year old Thanh’s current house has no doors, so her parents have always worried about leaving her at home alone when they went to work in the fields. Many children from Hue have been trafficked to Ho Chi Minh City sweat shops, so Thanh and her parents are very aware of the risks.
Both Thanh and her parents are very happy to see their new home taking shape and to know that Thanh will soon be safe.
