“Since I moved into the new house, my younger sisters and I no longer have to rush to my Grandmother’s house whenever it rains.”
Mai and her family have a proper roof over their heads for the first time in her life.
They are one of 100 families across Vietnam who will have a new house this year, thanks to a partnership between Roll’d Vietnamese and Blue Dragon.

The family living in this will soon have a house to call their own.
Roll’d is a food chain serving up healthy and fresh Vietnamese food throughout Australia. As part of their purpose to make a positive impact in the world, the Roll’d community is raising money to build homes for desperately poor families in Vietnam.
We all know that a well-built house, safe from the elements, is vital for children and families. In Vietnam, families who don’t have this basic protection are much more vulnerable to falling victim to human traffickers, who prey on those who are in poverty.

A house under construction.
Together, Roll’d and Blue Dragon are building houses in areas where human trafficking is a known problem. And we are going one step further: once the house is built, families are assisted to start a small business or buy livestock so that they can earn an income.
Thank you, Roll’d, for this amazing initiative!
