‘Thuy’s’ home was a flimsy bamboo hut in remote northern Vietnam. It had big gaps in the floor and the roof kept being blown away after severe storms. For two years, ‘Thuy’s’ father collected wood hoping that one day, he can build a house. It remained an impossible dream because they are so poor. Blue Dragon has just helped to build Thuy’s family a new home with running water, and furnished it with a table, some chairs and mattresses. Thuy can now study without worrying about her baby brother falling through the gaps in the floor.
