16 girls and young women who were rescued by Blue Dragon from China went on a special trip to a beach. It was a summer treat to celebrate their achievements in overcoming huge odds to reintegrate into life back in Vietnam. For most, it was their first ever trip to the sea. A girl from the mountain village kept asking where the other side of this enormous river was! She decided to bring back some sea water in a bottle so she can remember the sound of the waves. This trip was another big step to helping the survivors create beautiful memories and gain strength from each other.
