In November 2014, Blue Dragon rescued 7 youngsters from a hidden gold mine in remote Vietnam. Who could imagine that 2 years later, one of them would be instrumental in another Blue Dragon rescue. Our team received a call for help from another 7 ethnic minority youngsters who were trafficked to work in a second-hand steel cleaning workshop. One of them happened to be the relative of the gold mine survivor. She had given her relative the phone number of Blue Dragon with the advice to ring if she got into trouble. So when this group of 7 found themselves working with hazardous chemicals, locked up in the workshop at night, and with no pay, they knew they were in trouble. They are free now and reunited with their families.
