Blue Dragon kids caring for HIV+ children

May 6, 2017
Blue Dragon kids know that you can’t get HIV from hugging a HIV+ person, and that it is wrong to discriminate against those who are HIV+. When they met the people and children in a HIV centre outside of Hanoi, they embraced them wholeheartedly.
The Blue Dragon kids went to the Centre as part of their community service program. They sang and danced for the kids, designed guessing games, and even played football. Although the Blue Dragon kids face many difficulties in life, they were still moved by the plight of the children in the centre. For one Blue Dragon kid in particular, it was especially meaningful as both his parents are HIV+. Nurturing compassion and empathy in children help with their growth and development.
