Freedom is just the first step. What happens when a trafficked survivor returns to her community? This is the question which Blue Dragon helped local authorities answer at a workshop on providing after-care following a rescue. They had one day of training, and another day out in the village speaking to survivors – including a 14 year old who was rescued by Blue Dragon in January this year. The local authorities now understand better the challenges and needs of trafficked survivors in their community.
