If you had to draw a tree to represent yourself, what would it look like? This was a question 11 teens answered at Blue Dragon’s Career Preparation Workshop recently. Fruits represent achievements, flowers represent strengths, worms are for weaknesses, leaves are their plans, and the root of the tree are their core traits. Some kids drew every big roots with many fruits, while others had lots of leaves on their tree!
It was a good way to help the teens evaluate themselves, and to come up with plans for their future. There are 4 more workshops planned for the coming weeks, and two worksite visits to help these teens think more seriously about their career choice.
