After receiving a Blue Dragon scholarship, Diep has written a thank you letter to those who stood by her.

Dear Blue Dragon community,

My name is Diep. I’d like to share a little piece of my story – a journey of growing up from a shy and uncertain girl to the proud university student I am today.

Before I found Blue Dragon, my life was full of worries. I was a middle school student who didn’t know how far I could go, anxious about my studies, anxious about the future, and often feeling too small to face what lay ahead. I rarely spoke up or shared what I was thinking. I kept everything inside.

But things started to change when I became part of Blue Dragon.

The years alongside Blue Dragon have been full of memories I will always carry with me. Slowly, I learned to be more confident, to think more clearly about where I wanted to go, and to believe that I had the ability to get there. With Blue Dragon by my side, I had the chance to stay in school and to keep writing my own story.

For me, Blue Dragon has never been just a scholarship. It has been a community, a place where people grow together, support one another and hold onto something meaningful. I felt that warmth every step of the way, and it is what keeps me reaching further.

Today, I am a student at a university in Vietnam, studying Multimedia Communication. I remind myself every day to keep learning and keep growing. Looking back, I feel proud not just of the results, but of the fact that I kept going even when it was hard.

I believe that with enough determination, any road ahead is one we can walk – no matter how difficult.
