Kim’s Big Blue Swim… A Big Success!

She’s done it!
Kim Miller, a staff member of Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation, has successfully swum the English Channel.
Kim has been a part of Blue Dragon for over 10 years. During Covid lockdowns, she took to ocean swimming as a new hobby… And just a few short years later has achieved an amazing life goal.
Her swim took 13 hours and 21 minutes, supported by a volunteer boat crew who kept her fed and nourished.
In addition to joining the exclusive list of Channel swimmers, Kim set out to raise money for Vietnamese communities at risk of human trafficking.
So far she has raised almost $120,000, and donations are still very welcome at this link.
Money raised from Kim’s swim is keeping villagers in rural areas of Vietnam safe from trafficking and exploitation.
Funds will pay for children to attend school; families to start farms and small businesses; and for communities to establish their own locally-owned interventions to increase safety.
