It’s Mid-Autumn Festival time in Vietnam! The excitement has been building as lanterns and moon cake stalls line the streets, long before the actual celebrations.
As a traditional festival in the east, Mid-Autumn Festival is a celebration of three closely connected concepts: saying thanks for the harvest; sending wishes for a good future; and a gathering of friends and family.
Many of the children at Blue Dragon are unable to live with their families. By hosting the festivities, for a moment the Blue Dragon girls and boys can feel the same joy that every child in Vietnam is feeling at this special time of year.
Thanks to all of the people and businesses that made this celebration possible!
