Pilot Project for Girls at Risk

When you don’t have a family to support you fully when you are growing up, who can you turn to? For three teen girls at risk of being exploited on the streets, the answer is Blue Dragon’s ‘Happy House’. They are 16-19 years old and stay there from Mondayto Friday. They return to their families at the weekends. This is a pilot project to encourage healthy eating, and develop good habits so they can care for themselves better. Their social workers are on hand to support and encourage them. They are slowly turning Happy House into a Happy Home.
