Premiere: Kim’s Big Blue English Channel Swim – The Short Documentary
Last night, over 100 people gathered at Wylie’s Baths in Coogee, Sydney for the premiere screening of Kim’s Big Blue English Channel Swim – The Short Documentary.
The film follows Blue Dragon’s very own Kim Miller as she takes on the enormous challenge of swimming the English Channel – a 13-hour, 21-minute journey across one of the world’s busiest waterways.
Created by Joel from lo&behold productions, the documentary offers an intimate, behind-the-scenes look at Kim’s training, the mental and physical toll of the swim, and the powerful motivation that kept her going: raising funds to protect Vietnamese communities from human trafficking.
Following the screening, guests were treated to a special Q&A session with Kim and Blue Dragon founder Michael Brosowski. They shared personal insights into the swim, stories from the journey, and a closer look at the life-changing impact of Blue Dragon’s anti-trafficking work in Vietnam.
So far, Kim’s swim has raised $130,000 – and counting!
Thank you to everyone who came along to celebrate this incredible achievement!
