Raising Awareness about Trafficking for 1000 students

March 12, 2017
What does a shark, a goldfish and a baby have in common? A lot, according to students at a high school in northern Vietnam. A group of them got together to explain to 1000 other students about the dangers of trafficking. They likened traffickers to goldfish on the surface – friendly and non-threatening. However, they are like sharks inside – deadly predators. The trafficking victims, on the other hand, are like babies. Totally unaware of the dangers of trafficking.
They also dramatized stories, using costumes borrowed from friends and relatives (including a police uniform!). It was a great awareness raising exercise supported by Blue Dragon.
