Blue Dragon rescued ‘Linh’ in the nick of time. Her trafficker had been arrested in Vietnam, but without a victim’s statement, he was on the verge of being set free. Blue Dragon managed to find Linh and bring her home. She was just 15 when she was sold into a forced marriage. The same poverty which drove Linh to China (she thought she was going to a good job), also saw ‘Hoa’ trafficked as a forced bride. Blue Dragon rescued both girls at the same time. Hoa’s case is even more harrowing as she found herself the wife of a man who was mentally very unstable and who beat her constantly.
They are now safe, and Blue Dragon will help them with making statements to the police. Linh wants to go back to school and continue with her education.
