Going to university and choosing a career is major life step, and youth around the world need assistance to help them make informed decisions and improve their employability.
Savills Vietnam, a leading real-estate service provider in Vietnam, has been developing education and job focused sessions to assist over 100 Blue Dragon scholars through their university studies, and to help them prepare for their futures.
In July, trained professionals from Savills worked with undergraduates in Hanoi and Da Nang (central Vietnam) to teach skills in communication, CV writing and job interview skills, so they are ready to enter the job market after graduation.
Following the great feedback from participating students, Savills and Blue Dragon collaborated to organise an additional course to develop the students’ creative thinking and time management skills.
These skills are essential for university students when adapting to their new environment and juggling their busy schedules.
Blue Dragon’s tertiary students come from impoverished, mostly rural, families who would not otherwise afford higher education. With a helping hand, these students are able to break the poverty cycle and can look forward to a brighter future.
