‘Minh’ dropped out of school at the age of 14 and worked as a hired labourer in his hometown. About 6 months ago he moved to Hanoi, hoping for better work but ended up homeless on the streets.
When he desperately needed a helping hand, one of his friends brought Minh to Blue Dragon.
Minh now has a safe place to live and learn, and people to care for and listen to him when he needs to talk. He’s thinking about his future and preparing to join a study program: finally his life is as it should be.
Today marks International Day for Street Children. We invite you to celebrate Minh’s new start, as well as that of many children in Vietnam who have survived life on the streets and can now live their dreams.
