Teachers trained in early warning system

When a teacher is mistaken as a trafficker, you know that awareness is growing in the community about keeping children safe. Blue Dragon ran a workshop for teachers from 6 schools in Central Vietnam to share an early warning system to prevent child labour. A teacher shared that the parents of a student thought he was a trafficker when he went to visit their home. This was one of the challenges faced by teachers, including trying to answer questions like “Are you sure my child will get a good job if I let her continue studying?” These teachers are now more equipped to watch for signs to stop child labour, and are committed to ensuring that their students finish school.
