Teen rescued from sweatshop 6 years ago still in school

March 2, 2017

A simple backpack on some books. There is nothing unusual about it, except that it belongs to a teen who was rescued by Blue Dragon from a sweatshop 6 years ago when he was 11. His family situation has not changed. His father is disabled from an accident, and his mother is a labourer when she is not cultivating the small plot of land near their home. However, ‘Chinh’ has stayed in school with Blue Dragon’s strong support over the previous 6 years. He is now in Grade 11. Rescuing kids from slavery can make a difference. Let us celebrate Chinh’s perseverance.
