Teens rescued from sweatshop back in school

March 25, 2017
‘Quang’ spent the first year of his teenage life being paid 13 cents an hour working in a sweatshop in southern Vietnam. His impoverished parents had no idea about the terrible working conditions when they agreed to let him go with the stranger who gave them 75% of Quang’s earnings in advance.
After Blue Dragon rescued Quang and 5 other children, they were all assisted to return to school. Blue Dragon now supports them with their education. Quang’s favourite subject is Biology. Recently, they were taken to the beach for a treat and the photo shows Quang relishing his freedom. That is how children should be – free to play, and to go to school.
