The Blue Dragon team has just reunited 2 trafficking victims with their families in the south of Vietnam. Luckily for them, they were stopped at the China border by police who managed to identify them. Blue Dragon was called in to help with the case.
Ngoc* and Hai* were promised good jobs in a shoe factory earning a monthly salary of 7 million VND/month (USD$310). However, the trafficker actually planned to sell them to a brothel in China.
The trafficker who brought the 2 girls to the border has been arrested. We are now working with Chinese police to arrest the other traffickers in the ring.
