Working together to end human trafficking and child abuse

November 21, 2018

Nghe An province, in the north-central region of Vietnam, is known as a hotspot for human trafficking. To reduce the risk to people in the community, Blue Dragon has been working with local border guards to educate and share updates about current human trafficking issues. In an open forum, everybody shared their experiences when offering assistance and support to trafficking victims so that everybody understands the sensitivities and the best way to rescue and care for a person who has been trafficked.

In a separate education session, also in Nghe An,  Blue Dragon worked with police to discuss the issues around child sexual abuse, so the officers have the ability to recognise, investigate and prosecute offenders.

This discussion and sharing of knowledge is very valuable to ensure that we are all working together to stop these terrible crimes.
