Workshop on sexual abuse

Is it possible to be sexually abused by your girlfriend/boyfriend? This is one question asked by Blue Dragon kids at a workshop on the prevention of sexual abuse. 13 boys and girls aged between 10 and 16 years old spent a day understanding what sexual abuse means, ‘stranger danger’, who can be a sexual abuser, and which body parts are ‘sensitive’. The trainer running the workshop was surprised by how open the kids were in discussing these issues. The social workers now hope that the kids will be more alert and aware that they can protect themselves from danger.
