Blue Dragon USA is a 501(c)3 charity with a mission to protect children in Vietnam.
Human trafficking and homelessness are two major issues affecting children and young people from the poorest regions of the country. Together we can rescue those in danger, reunite them with their families, and help communities stay safe and resilient.

Chung Pham
President & Treasurer
Chung Pham is Founder and CEO of USA Vietnamese Translation Services. He was a senior research strategist at Denver Public Schools for 8 years. Before coming to the US, he was one of the founding members of the Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation in Vietnam, working with disadvantaged children. He earned a Ph.D in Public Policy Analysis at the RAND Graduate School, Santa Monica, California. Chung is an expert table tennis player and used to play semi-professionally.

Nelson Le
Vice President - Strategic Operations
As a physician and an immigrant from Vietnam, Nelson has a passion for the well-being of Vietnamese children. As a Director for Blue Dragon, he is active in fundraising to further Blue Dragon’s mission. He is a pediatric cardiologist who currently works as a physician executive and Medical Director at Humana. He earned his MD degree at Boston University, trained at Yale and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and has an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.

Michael Bertini
Vice President - Business Operations
Michael Bertini is CEO of Open Systems Adaptable Solutions (OSAS), a global tech company headquartered in Minnesota. He has a degree in Engineering and a Masters in Engineering from UNSW (Sydney); a Ph.D in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix; and a Ph.D in Information Science from Walden University. Michael is driven by a lifelong passion to fight human trafficking and protect society’s most vulnerable.

Sharon Lindo Steele
Secretary
Sharon Lindo Steele is the Managing Partner of Big Pond Technologies. In 2003 she established a facility in India which is now the R&D division of Open Systems. Sharon supported Open Systems with its international business development. Aside from being an entrepreneur and a world traveler, Sharon’s real passion is supporting children. She spent many years teaching children’s Sunday school, coaching youth basketball and soccer and adoring her own two daughters. Sharon will play an active role in raising awareness and fundraising in the United States and is excited to grow the mission of the organization.
